Mark Liszczak: Director

Mark is responsible for purchasing stock for both retail and wholesale customer sales. He also provides support to the team to help them excel in their individual roles.

Having started in the industry as a retail sales cadet in 1997, Mark moved into the wholesale side of the industry in 2003 where he was the Wholesale Manager at a South Yarra BMW dealership.

A few years later he changed direction and started as a buyer for a large Melbourne based wholesaler. It was here that Mark met Sam and where they became great friends over the next 5 years working together.

In 2009 it was the right time for Mark and Sam to start Auto Motor Group together and the rest, as they say, is history.

Mark is married with two lovely young children and thrives on hosting catch ups with good friends at his home.

Sam Skilbeck: Director

Sam is also responsible for purchasing stock for both retail and wholesale customer sales and enjoys helping the team to achieve their full potential and seeing the business grow.

Sam’s first 8 years in the industry were spent working at one of Melbourne’s leading wholesale businesses. He started as a cadet and finished as a Floor Manager running the Sales Team and working closely with the Buying Team.

Creating and building Auto Motor Group over the past 12 years has been a key career highlight and really rewarding experience for Sam. He continues to thrive on the challenge of buying and selling cars, sourcing vehicles for customers and carrying out the day to day running of the business.

Married with two beautiful children, Sam enjoys spending time with his family and friends and is well known for his passion for golf!

Peter Stevenson: Sales Manager

Peter [aka Pete] is responsible for helping customers with their vehicle purchase in accordance with their individual needs and budget.

Pete has over 60 years’ worth of experience in the motor industry and still finds joy in providing honest, knowledgeable advice to customers to help them with their vehicle purchase.

In his spare time, he enjoys camping and caravanning, gardening and watching Football.

Tony Williams: Stock Controller

Tony is responsible for managing all areas of stock control, from incoming and outgoing inventory for retail and wholesale vehicles and daily financial reporting to management, to assisting with retail sales, and providing general logistical support across all aspect of the business.

With over 26 years’ experience in industry, Tony’s career highlights include positions of Senior Sales Executive and Group Buyer / Valuer with Mercedes-Benz.

On his days off, he enjoys listening to music, playing golf, travelling and spending time with his partner.

Dane Kelly: Buyer

In his role with Auto Motor Group Dane is responsible for sourcing high quality vehicles for both retail and wholesale customers. Integral to the role is building solid, long lasting relationships with his network in the industry.

Dane’s career spans 20 years’ of involvement and management of franchised motor vehicle dealerships which has provided him with a breadth of knowledge about the industry.

In his spare time Dane enjoys supporting the Collingwood footy club, heading to wineries on the peninsula and catching up with friends and family over a few drinks. He also has a keen interest in motorsport of all verities.

Kristine Howell: Accounts Manager

Kristine [aka Krissie] joined Auto Motor Group in 2011 taking responsibility for bank and end of month reconciliations, along with related admin and VIC Roads paperwork requirements.

Krissie has worked in the industry for some 36 years, starting in the Auctions space for 18 years, before moving into the wholesale and retail trade.

When time permits Krissie indulges her passion of listening to music of all genres and going to concerts and festivals. She also loves crime novels and programs. Krissie’s cats are key to her happiness giving her much joy and great company!
